Step Up Generations, Inc., (Step Up) is dedicated to enriching the lives of disadvantaged youth and their families.  The mission of this organization is to help restructure and rebuild the lives of individuals in the community, by assisting, mentoring, and ministering to all generations and their families, spiritually, mentally, socially and intellectually.  Today, individuals from every generation, are experiencing social and emotional adversities due to poor self- esteem, peer pressure and their environment.  Step-Up desires to make a difference in the lives of each individual in the community.

 

The goal and mission of the collaborative initiative include but is not limited to the following:

 

• Stimulate development and expansion of children and youth programs.

• Stimulate development and expansion of adult and senior programs.

• To strengthen our connection with the local community.

• To help individuals discover their gifts, talents and possibilities.

• To challenge individuals not to be different but to live differently.

• Encourage greater support of local organizations and ministries.

 

Activities

Community Outreach

 

• Provide community events such as Unity Day where the community comes together for family type activities.

• Organize Back to School events distributing school supplies to underprivileged children.

• Organize peace rallies, Unity Sports, Mid-Year School events, Health Fairs, and etc.

• Provide workshops, resources and program services for individuals within the community.

 

Programs will continue in the future, and as more funds become available more programs will be implemented.
